Welcome to the Aphasia Software Finder
The aim of this website is to help people to find information about software programmes that may help improve communication.
To do this we aim to gather onto one website information about all available aphasia therapy software programmes in the English language.
The website is free to use and has no connection with any software provider. It is funded by a charity and run by independent researchers.
Software Finder: on this page we group the software according to what it is designed to help: reading, meaning of words, numbers and money, spelling and writing, conversation rules, time concepts and listening. Click on any one of those and it will take to software that is designed to help that area. To use the Software Finder click here.
Software List: if you know the name of the piece of software you are interested in you can use the Software List. Click on the tab at the top of the page and click on the name of the software. This will take you to the information about that piece of software. To use the Software List click here.
Comparison Table: This gives an overview of the available software and compares their key features. To see all the key features, please look at both tables. If there is a programme you want to look at in detail, click on the programme name and it will take you to the information about that piece of software. To look at the comparison table click here.

This website was commissioned by The Tavistock Trust for Aphasia. It will be regularly updated and improved.
Stop Press: The Tavistock Trust for Aphasia and the team at Frenchay are pleased to announce that they are currently working on adding Apps and information about some non therapy software and websites that might be of specific interest to people with aphasia.
