Don't be put off by the childish look. Adults can use the simulator function where they can practise dialling phone numbers and talking/leaving a message.

Phone numbers can be programmed in for them to practise dialling. Messages can also be recorded.

In challenge mode, user can practise and the app will intervene if a mistake is made

Auditory comprehension exercises including auditory word-picture matching, listening to & following basic directions, temporal directions and conditional directions.

There are up to 9 levels of difficulty & 1700 items

Results can be recorded and emailed. A score is given at the end of each exercise & a record of exercises attempted is also recorded within the app but scores are not saved in these reports.

User can record their speech although this is an app to work on auditory comprehension rather than speech.

• Semantic categorisation of 269 nouns (animals, body parts, clothing etc) and adjectives/descriptors (e.g. things that fly)
• 3 levels (easy, medium & hard). The easy level contains concrete categories, the medium level contains sub-categories, the hard level contains abstract categories
• 4 sets of exercise: Find, Classify, Exclude & Add one (i.e. find another item to fit the category)
• 10-50+ items can be selected per exercise
• The targets can be presented as pictures only, words only or words & pictures. Audio cues are provided
