• Check It: Reviews writing for incorrect grammar, spelling (phonetic), capitalization, punctuation, verb tense and more.
• Audio Maker: Converts selected text into an audio file, and automatically downloads
• Talk&Type: Turns the spoken word into text (unavailable for Read&Write for Mac users).

TD Snap acts as a communication support and therapy tool for aphasia

Tools include:

These grids are intended to be personalised with information about a person, for example their hobbies, health, communication strengths and needs, and personal news. Vocabulary to communicate with a range of communication partners and for a range of different purposes, including single words, phrases and sentences. Also aims to support conversations about important topics such as mental health and finances.

Photo based visual scenes to support communication and conversation around personal interests, activities or other important topics. Photos and text can be personalised.

Aphasia Design

This app has been designed specifically for people with aphasia.

To use Aphasia Duo you will need Grid software, for Windows or iPad. Requires Grid version 94 or above.

Keeble is an iOS keyboard.

It gives the user control over the colour, font and complexity of the keyboard.

Keeble features word prediction, can give auditory feedback on letters and words and the ability to control voice / speech rate.

It offers:

1. Simplified ABC offers an ABC keyboard and leaves out all the difficult, less important keys. It is intended for beginning users who are still exploring letters and who should not be distracted by keys they do not need.
2. Simplified QWERTY is a standard keyboard, leaving out all the difficult, less important keys. It is intended for beginning writers who should not be distracted by keys they do not need.
3. QWERTY is the standard keyboard layout.
4. QWERTY extended is optimized for iPad Pro.
5. Scanning - ABC offers a simplified, ABC keyboard for users with fine-motor challenges who access the keyboard through switch scanning.
6. Scanning - Frequency of use is a research-based keyboard layout that offers letters based on frequency of use: the most frequently used letters are placed at the beginning of the keyboard, saving switch scanners lots of time.

 The keyboard screen has predicitive text  and multiple access methods.
