There are 2 versions of the therapy app - a client version & a clinician version.  The clinician version is free. The client version requires a yearly subscription.

Designed to capture and organise ideas but could provide a useful tool for generating communication with photo/picture support. For example, someone could use it to generate a simple family tree to show relationships which they are unable to express verbally.  Another use could be to discuss an issue and attach all the feelings surrounding that issue. Another possibility could be for semantic therapy.

The possibilities are endless, it is content free and therefore can be used however the user sees fit.

Photo supported calendar/reminders

Photos can be added to the calendar from the photo stream or taken instantly

Calendar items appear with the text in a small font, the time in a big font and supported by a half screen photo

Useful for those who need reminders, can't read or next step by step instructions throughout the day

For practising the dialling of phone numbers and also phone conversations/leaving a message. Realistic dialling tones

Don't be put off by the childish look. Adults can use the simulator function where they can practise dialling phone numbers and talking/leaving a message.

Phone numbers can be programmed in for them to practise dialling. Messages can also be recorded.

In challenge mode, user can practise and the app will intervene if a mistake is made

Attach voice recordings to your photos to tell people about yourself and what you've been doing

The person needs single word reading to identify the photo they want to pick from a written list

Picture dictionary with opportunities to practise simple conversations

Designed for foreign language learners but useful resource for people with communication difficulties

Attach photos to your contacts. To call them, just click on their photo

Useful for people who struggle to read names

Also possible to customise an emergency contact email & phone number so that they receive a map location for the person each time they've made an outgoing call

Makes your text messages bigger & easier to read

Useful for people with aphasia who have some reading but struggle with the small font size of text messages on their phone

A basic AAC app. Lists of words to choose from and add your own. 6 categories with up to 50 words in each

Need single word reading to use this app, no photos or symbols are used

It is basic and limited but it's free and could be useful for assessing potential for an AAC system
